Claire Lydon-Strutt qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist in 2009 with Essentials for Health with a BTEC Level 4 Professional Diploma and has been treating clients privately and within clinics in and around London ever since. She has recently moved back nearer to her home town of Marlborough and has joined the Amanda Marsh Physiotherapy practice at Marlborough Golf Club.

Claire became interested in Sports Massage through her professional dance training at Laban. It is from her experience as a dancer (and injuries) that she combines her knowledge of posture, alignment and the mechanics of movement with her work as a Sports Massage Therapist. She has treated a wide variety of sports persons, including dancers, runners, tri athletes, footballers and cyclists etc….

Sports Massage is not just for those sporty types or injury related issues, but can be beneficial for every day aches and pains, such as back tension, stiff neck and shoulders. Sports Massage can also be a great tool when training to relieve sore muscles, maintain muscle balance and reduce the risk of injury..
